Ketu in Lagna / Ascendant / First House
First House is called self-house, it is related to ourselves, our personality, our general health condition.
Ketu behaves like Rahu Mostly. It is also an illusionary planet. Ketu is the main significator of isolation, higher dimensions in spirituality, mystical world, and separation. Ketu’s nature is very curious like mercury, but mercury loves to communicate and learn new things and Ketu learns from its own enlightenment. Ketu is a representer of son, intuition, ability to research and development, seriousness, and dog in pets.
Note: – There are many things common between Rahu and Ketu. But one big difference is that Rahu just creates an illusion but Ketu’s nature is spiritual so it can remove the illusion and enlighten itself.
Let’s explain how Ketu behaves in the first house. Ketu is also called a north node of the moon and Ketu is called a south node of the moon. These are not physical planets; these both are the shadow or imaginary planets. They always stay in opposite directions with each other.
Ketu in Lagna / first house is all about isolation and incompleteness. Ketu is the planet of isolation and when it comes to the first house which is related to self, it shows that person is isolated by himself/herself. This position makes a person incomplete, so in the first house, it expects to get some impact from 7th house to feel complete and can give the person way of life. The third house is related to Short distance travel, skills and hobbies, inner courage, things related to business, information and communication skills, marketing skills, and younger siblings.
Ketu in the third house indicates isolation or separation from younger siblings. Isolation could be physical or mental. It is seen in many cases that the siblings have a different mindset so they don’t communicate a lot with each other. Because Ketu is a spiritual planet and these peoples love to talk about spirituality and mystical things. But their siblings will not much be interested in these topics which can cause isolation.

Ketu also shows past life, so it means that they have to pay past life karma debts. Past life their relationship was good so now they have to compromise.
It also shows that the person becomes highly spiritual and cut off from spouse, or go far away for business or job.

8th house related to death, re-birth, in-laws, secrecy, occult or hidden things or knowledge, shared properties, or wealth with spouse and transformation.

This placement of Ketu makes a person a true researcher. They are highly curious about everything, especially in the occult, mystical and hidden things. So here a person isolates himself from everything to follow the religion but when reaching on a higher level he realized that he needs something more than religion. Because the rules of religion are defined and everyone has to follow, no one can go against the rule.

They start practice in early life but they have to face a lot of difficulties at the start. They have to work hard to find the true dimensions of spirituality.
